Introductions/Setting the Table

So you have finished your veggies, now it's time for dessert.

Hello! Welcome to my own cozy, personal corner of the Internet. Long have I thought about what to do with this empty plot, and finally have found a purpose.

I have come to realize that too many people float by in life, and there's a wealth of literature that passes by. Classics and first editions, published fifty years ago or fifty days to go, some books never come to attention.

 This must stop.

What I intend to do here is help people find a book (not necessarily a best-seller or made into the latest movie) to be their mental dessert.

Let me set forth what to expect here:
-I will always shoot straight in my reviews. No matter what author I might upset
or what rabble I might cause, my opinion will always be my own.

-I shall shoot for once a month with reviews, given a busy schedule and whatnot, I will hope to bring that down to every two weeks. Stay tuned.

-Books shall be rated on a scale from Shelve It, Skim It, Read It, to Display It.

-At the end of every review there shall be information posted on where to buy a copy, including:
-Current new/used prices as per Amazon, Borders and Barnes & Noble, as well as
information on the copy I specifically reviewed.
-Rating suggestion (for parents who happen to both peruse this site and
encourage their children to do some recreational reading) from G to X.
-Any special editions collectors might want to search for/optional copies for
extended enjoyment (and where to purchase them).

-Above all I have the expectation of you, my loyal readers:
-If you ever feel I give an unjust review, or you wish to pick my brain (or you
wish me to pick yours), please, by all means send me a message - I encourage
it.
-If you ever wish for a book, poem, short story, etc., to be reviewed, send me
an email as well. Please include your name (real or Internet handle), title,
and a short justification of said piece, and I will do my best to accommodate.
-Lastly, have fun. This site is not meant for you to base your entire
collection upon, instead, I hope I can get your brain working and spark your
own interest in reading. As Nike says, "Just Do It".
